After-School & Summer Care Programs
Welcome to New Life Care Programs. We provide quality childcare for K-4 through 6th grade students. Our programs consist of an after-school care program and an all day summer care program. We pick up students from Rockwell Elementary, Spanish Fort Elementary and Stonebridge Elementary.

AFTERSCHOOL CARE
We pick up students from the local elementary schools (ROCKWELL, STONEBRIDGE & SPANISH FORT ELEMENTARY) and provide a safe and fun place for them to play while parents are at work.
Open Monday- Friday 2:45-6:00pm
We follow the Baldwin County School Calendar, but will occasionally offer All Day Care Days when school is out. Those days will be announced a week or so ahead of time.

Registration Fee $100
Insurance Liability Fee of $25 is included in the Registration Fee.
The registration fee & insurance liability fees with be combined into one fee on your invoice.
Daily Rate $11.00
Sibling Rate Daily Rate $10.00

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BEGIN ON APRIL 7, 2025. REGISTRATION SHOULD BE DONE THROUGH THE REGISTRATION LINK ON THIS PAGE OR THROUGH YOUR PAR.ENT PORTAL.​
When spots are full for each school, we will open up a waiting list.

SUMMER CARE
We provide a fun and safe program for K-4 through 6th grade children during the summer months.
Registration will open up on March 2, 2026.
The details for the fieldtrips schedule and pricing will be posted by April 6, 2026. It should be very similar to the fieldtrip schedule for Summer Care 2025, which is still posted below.

We will be open from June 1st- - July 31st for the 2026 summer.

*You will be invoiced on Fridays based on your child's attendance each week. Tuition is due every Friday afternoon.

THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY PARENT MEETING BEFORE SUMMER CARE BEGINS. THE MEETING WILL BE ON MAY 19, 2025 AT 6:15PM

YOUR CHILD WILL NEED 1 LUNCH AND 2 SNACKS AND A REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE EACH DAY.

NEW LIFE SUMMER CARE WILL BE OPEN FROM 7AM-6PM. You may drop off and pick up any time during those hours.

PLEASE REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR THE CLASS FOR THEIR CURRENT GRADE LEVEL. SPOTS WILL BE VERY LIMITED THIS SUMMER. IF A CLASS IS FULL, YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE PUT ON A WAITING LIST. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED AS SOON AS A SPOT BECOMES AVAILABLE.

​We will also provide an opportunity for you to sign your child up for tutoring. Carrie Hovey, an Orton Gillingham Trained Tutor, will be coming to New Life throughout the summer to offer reading help. She specializes in Dyslexia and other reading challenges. Arrangements and payments will need to be made directly with Carrie. Her contact # is 864-356-1403
SUMMER CARE 2025 ACTIVITIES
We will be charging an ACTIVITY FEE at the beginning of the summer that will cover all the scheduled activities. We will not refund any of this fee for missed field-trips. These are scheduled, but subject to change. If something has to be changed, we will do our best to find an alternate activity for the kids.
Participating in fieldtrips is optional. If you choose to opt out of the fieldtrips, you will not be charged the activity fee, but you must opt out at the beginning of the summer.

There are 3 reasons that I will adjust the activity fee for your child:
​
1. I will adjust the activity fee if your child is attending reading or math camp at the local elementary schools.
2. I will adjust the activity fee if you have a divorce agreement where the child has to go with the other parent per a court order and because of this agreement they will not be attending New Life on certain days/weeks.
3. I will adjust the activity fee if your child has special needs and the fieldtrip for their group is not appropriate for them to attend.

There will be one field-trip permission form that you will sign at the beginning of the summer that will cover all of the scheduled activities for your child. If your child is present on a day that a field-trip is scheduled for their group, we will assume they have permission to participate unless you specifically tell us that day that you do not want them to.

OTHER SPECIAL DAYS

Water Days * There will be a small separate charge for any water days that we have. Due to our crazy rainy weather during the summer, we are not charging for these days upfront.
​
*Summer Care calendars will be available before the summer starts. These will have all the field-trips and special days on it for you to have as a quick reference.

SUMMER CARE 2022 FUN
iKIDS Children's Ministry
New Life has a children's ministry called iKids. Brenda Smith is the children's pastor and she does an iKids service once a week during after-school care and during our summer care program.Â
The kids will sing fun songs, play cool games and hear a Bible story.Â
We will also have a KIDS KRUSADE for 3 days during the summer care program. This is very similar to our iKids service but we typically bring in a guest children's speaker for this. More details about this will be given closer to the event.
